Join fellow festival goers and residents in the annual tribute to art and music in downtown Tulsa at the Tulsa International Mayfest. Enjoy the day outdoors exploring the fine arts and crafts displays, watching performing artists, and visiting indoor galleries around the downtown area. Feel free to bring the kids so they can play in the KidZone, a hands-on art activity area where they can mingle with other kids and have fun painting and making crafts.
This is a free event and runs Thursday through Saturday, May 19 to May 21, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday, May 22, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. You'll find plenty of great places to eat around the downtown area and can pick up some food from area vendors at the festival itself. See the works of 120 artists and 100 performances on four stages during the event.
If you're driving to the downtown area, you'll find parking at the American Parking and Central Parking Garages, a few blocks from S. Cincinnati Avenue. You'll find plenty of great restaurants around this area, including Andolino's Pizzeria, Lucky's Restaurant and Mi Cocina Tulsa.
Staying at the Holiday Inn Tulsa City Center over festival weekend means you will be minutes from all the fun. Enjoy amenities including daily housekeeping, WiFi and access to a fitness center throughout your stay.
